the angry bees
It was a very fine and beautiful Saturday morning. I decided to go to the park to read my adventure story book and also to have some fresh air. When I reached the park, there were a number of people who came earlier than me. I saw an old man sitting on a bench near a pond reading a newspaper. Beside the running track, I also saw two children playing on a see-saw and beside them, there was a family and the father was carrying their baby. I sat against a tree just behind the pond and started to read my interesting book.
Few minutes later, I started to feel that this book was beginning to be boring. I stood up and looked for things that I could do not to bored myself. Never had I realised that just above me, there was a beehive! I broke a small branch from a tree and used the rubber band that was in my pocket to make catapult. I picked up some stones that were lying near the pond and put them down beside me. I started aiming at the beehives and started shooting it. To my dismay, I kept on missing my target. Just then, the father of the family ran towards me and shouted, “Stop! You are going to be stung by the bees if you make the bees angry!” I pretended not to hear and then, the tragic happened.
I shot the beehive and was on the ground! I was very shocked that in a split second, an angry swarm of bees started to chase after me. I quickly ran towards the pond and plunged in. I stayed there and held my breath for a few seconds. When I came up to the surface of the water, I saw a person dialing on the mobile phone urgently. I knew straight away he was calling the ambulance. I was confused why he was calling the ambulance as I was not hurt at all. I guessed that they wanted to make sure I did not get stung. But when I turned around, I saw a horrifying scene. I saw the old man full with red dots lying on the grass and there was a crowd of people. My mind was blank for awhile, than I realised what had happened: The old man got stung instead of me! I now knew that they were calling the ambulance for the old man and not for me. After waiting for few minutes, the ambulance arrived. They carried the old man into the ambulance and went off. I quickly came out of the water and dried myself. After that, I followed the crowd to the Singapore General Hospital which was quite near the park.
In the hospital, I stood outside the observation room in a corner for the results. I cried silently as I felt very guilty. I did not know this was going to turn out like this. When the doctor told the crowd the results, they cried even more loudly. I knew that the old man was not in this world anymore. I squatted down and cried, as I was the one who deserved this punishment and not the innocent old man. I got a severe nagging from my both parents after they got the sad piece of news. After this incident, I truly learnt my lesson that even though there is a water body nearby, I should not hit a beehive as the bees can harm other people who did nothing wrong as well.

Hihi,
i came to mi blog 2 tell you abt the ipw project
u noe i very tired after the walkin thingy seh...
i went 2 the fountain,
the 3 bridges,
the indian army national monument,
where we presented our speech,
and the old & new supream court..
we aso went to the civillian memorial
that is called
"the chopstick"..
two pairs of chopsticks..
i realised..
and i went 2 victoria concert hall,
the old and new parliament house,
the LimBo Seng memorial,
etc...
i took alot of pictures...
except my groups...
i had no time..
tat is my excuse..
lol
i didnt take the indian national army monument,
which we needed very badly 4 our project..
feng yin said my cam was useless..
it was sorta true..
so we used mdm suriani's..
i sorta was angry.
i dunno y..
and then they blame me sia..
i like veri sad lor..

then i veri angry liao...
dunno y...
at least i learn a few thing from my friends abt the history lor...
eg: Lim Bo Seng help the chinese and then tortured to death..
all sorts of info's...
then we went back to school...
the at the time capsule,
we ate ice-cream seh...
veri delicious...
i veri tired also...
i sleep dunno how long
when i went home...
